JOY FOR ALL 2025
Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. (Luke 2:10)
Vision: This Christmas, we’re stepping into four opportunities to bring the joy of Jesus to our neighbors through serving, sharing, sheltering, and sustaining the mission.
1. Joy For: Winter Relief
Winter Relief — In partnership with Calvary UMC, we provide warmth, shelter, and meals for our neighbors in need.
The Ask: Serve a meal, volunteer overnight, donate supplies, or help with logistics.
2. Joy For: Germantown Elementary
Christmas Gifts for 25 Families — We’re partnering with a local elementary school to make Christmas brighter for families in our city.
The Ask: Choose a family, purchase gifts, and return them by 12/21.
3. Joy For: Wilbourn Estates
Neighborhood Christmas Hot Cocoa — We get to show up in a local neighborhood with warmth, presence, and simple joy.
The Ask: Volunteer to serve, greet, or help with setup and cleanup.
4. Joy For All Through Your Generosity
End-of-Year Giving — Your financial generosity fuels everything God is doing through Downtown Hope: worship, discipleship, outreach,
and mission throughout our city.
The Ask: Make a joyful year-end gift or begin recurring giving.
