/// We Gather Together
Join us each Sunday at Downtown Hope for one of our Gatherings- 9:00am, 10:45am, 4:30pm. Our 4.30pm gathering is acoustic, hymn based and follows a historical liturgical structure.
We respond to God’s grace in worship by offering our whole lives back to Him (Romans 12.1-2)- this includes our finances. We encourage all who consider DH their church home to practice first fruits giving (give first and live on the rest). You can place a check “Downtown Hope” or cash in our offering box today or give online at www.downtownhope.org/give. Your generosity goes to extending God’s grace to our city through the people and work of Downtown Hope. You can find our financial updates on our giving page.
What if I have never given before? A simple way to begin is by committing a small percentage and increasing each year. The 10% pattern of offering in the Old Testament is a helpful mark to grow towards.
Do you enjoy coffee? Do you have the gift of hospitality? Are you just look for a low risk way of getting involved on a Sunday Morning. We are looking for people to get involved helping set up coffee and tea on Sunday mornings. Please reach out to Austin MacCubbin (firstname.lastname@example.org)

We would love for you to get connect in one of our communities that meets throughout the week. Communities are the primary place we are encouraged to grow in our journey with Jesus through the spiritual disciplines as means of grace. We believe every follower of Jesus is called to walk with others to discover or grow in Jesus. Contact Steve Kuzner (email@example.com) if you are interested in connecting in a Community or banding with a few friends to begin one yourself.
Women of Downtown Hope and Annapolis, join us for IF: Gathering 2019! IF is a live-streamed conference filled with music, speakers and time to connect with friends. This year we work through the book of Proverbs which challenges us to live out our faith in every aspect of our life, drawing people to Christ. Registration cost: $25. Visit https://downtownhope.iflocal.com for more information/registration or reach out to Jen Healy (firstname.lastname@example.org).
/// We Love Annapolis
One of the ways we live in the reconciliation we have received in Christ is to walk in friendship with our neighbors living in the grips of poverty, addiction or ailment. There are four elementary school boys in need of some face time with caring adults/families. Would you consider taking 45 min. of your week for a trip to McDonalds with one of these boys? Please reach out to Janice Keating (email@example.com).
At our Gatherings we have shared an immediate need to replenish the food pantry for our friends in the Newtowne Twenty and Woodside Gardens Neighborhoods. Please bring all goods to Downtown Hope during any of next Sunday’s Gatherings and place them on the table by our front doors. Reach out if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
We're looking for people to donate new or used coats that will go to adults who come in to the Eastport Food Pantry. Bring your gently used coats to any of our gatherings and place them in the designated area by the front entrance doors. Ends February 15th. For more information contact Heather Hurley (email@example.com).

The first simple step to consider being known in our church is to attend one of our Discover Downtown Hope orientation lunches on the first Sunday of every month. Here you will have a chance to hear our vision, ask questions and get to know some of our leaders. Contact David Bempong (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Knownness in Downtown Hope happens in Community through identifying as a part of the body. Our quarterly Gospel For Life Membership class is a chance to identify as a body member of Downtown Hope. Meals and childcare are provided. RSVP to David Bempong (email@example.com).
