Today is Wednesday, December 4th, 2018.  Paul begins this chapter by clarifying his intentions in ministry.  He is not seeking the empty praise of man for his work, instead he is full of joy because his work gives testimony to the work of Christ through him.  Paul then goes on to contrast the old covenant, given on tablets of stone, and the new covenant, written on the hearts of believers. The law and the gospel are written on the hearts of all who believe by the living God -Jon
