Today is Monday March 25th. In our passage today Jesus talks about the freedom that come from abiding in His words. To abide is to live with. Jesus is calling other to live with His word. If you read the daily then in a way you are abiding in His word, but reading alone isn’t enough. When we abide in Christ and in His word, our lives are opened to the truth. The truth that we are enslaved to sin both big and small. That it is only through Christ that we can be set free. Through Christ’s life of perfect Holiness that we look to emulate. It isn’t enough to only read His word or hear His word, but we must abide in it. Allow it to affect our lives and cause us to live it out. This is what Jesus wants us to know. Because of his life death and resurrection we can now be free to follow Him. We are free not because we heard the Gospel, we are free because in hearing the gospel we ran to the light.

The following guide is a resource for you to use in your personal time of solitude with the Lord as well as when you connect with the Community that you facilitate.  It can also be used for times with family or friends around the table.

How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”
