Today is Wednesday, January 23, 2019.  David continues his prayer by acknowledging that there are no gods that compare to the true God.  Many nations have turned to false gods, such as carved images or objects, such as money, only to find emptiness and disappointment.  Their works do not compare to the works of the Lord. David desires that God would teach him his righteous ways and bind his heart to His.  May we follow David’s example and worship the one true God for His righteous ways. - Jon

The following guide is a resource for you to use in your personal time of solitude with the Lord as well as when you connect with the Community that you facilitate.  It can also be used for times with family or friends around the table.

[ Psalm 86:8-11]

8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. 9 All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. 10 For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. 11 Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
