Today is Tuesday the 17th of April: Often our human ways dictate the way we think. Our desires enable us to justify our thoughts and actions. We need to be constantly evaluating our reasoning for our actions and whether we truly are bringing glory to God. -  Daniel

(Take time to write down responses to these questions or discuss in your group)
_ Consider a time when you thought you were doing God's work but, upon reflection, realized that you were following your own desire.

Take some time to thank and praise God for who He is, to pray for those you are walking with, for the needs you/group are facing, and for the Spirit to open your heart and eyes as you read the passage, which has been completely inspired by God.

DISCOVER [ Romans 13.3-4 ]
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but
to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.
