Welcome to the weekend!  If you are reading these postings daily you are probably beginning to get into a solid rhythm of connecting with Jesus through word and prayer daily. In this process we are being strengthened in Jesus as we receive, respond to and reproduce the grace of Jesus in our lives.  We are building for a marathon, not for a sprint so be encouraged in the progress and growth happening in you!  Today's reading we learn that Jesus didn't always give answers to questions, in fact sometimes he answered questions with a question.

CONNECT (Take time to write down responses to these questions or discuss in your group)
_ Has Jesus ever answered your question with a question?
_ Were you able to obey Jesus with a simple step from yesterday/last time?
_ How is it going with those you are walking with to grow in or discover Jesus?  Have you had a chance to pray for, serve or encourage them in the Scripture this week?  Do you feel prepared to walk with someone in discovery study?

PRAY
_
Take some time to thank and praise God for who He is, to pray for those you are walking with, for the needs you/group are facing, and for the Spirit to highlight truth as you read.

DISCOVER [ Mark 11.27-33 ]  27 And they came again to Jerusalem. And as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to him, 28 and they said to him, “By what authority are you doing these things, or who gave you this authority to do them?” 29 Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30 Was the baptism of John from heaven or from man? Answer me.” 31 And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’32 But shall we say, ‘From man’?”—they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John really was a prophet. 33 So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
