Knownness in our church family happens in our Communities where we grow as followers of Jesus. There are three new communities forming throughout the month of October on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings led by the Liedners, Lyons and Jon Kalis and Karla Lamotta. You can find these and all of our Communities on our website downtownhope.org/communities

Our Student Ministry (Underground) meets Sunday mornings (9a during our first gathering) and every Sunday evening (6.30-8.30pm). Currently we are praying for anyone who has a desire to pour into students. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
One of the ways we live in the reconciliation we have received in Christ is to walk in friendship with our neighbors living in the grips of poverty, addiction or ailment. There are four elementary school boys in need of some face time with caring adults/families. Would you consider taking 45 min. of your week for a trip to McDonalds with one of these boys? Please reach out to Janice Keating (email@example.com).
If you have a friend or neighbor who is going through a difficult time or has become spiritually curious we have a simple, relational way to help you help them discover Jesus. Reach out to Jesse Taylor (firstname.lastname@example.org) to learn more.
The daily is a M-F resource/reading plan, integrated into our teaching series, that encourages us to develop a simple rhythm of abiding in Jesus through word and prayer. Learn more and sign up on our website- downtownhope.org/the-daily.

We respond to God’s grace in worship by offering our whole lives back to Him (Romans 12.1-2)- this includes our finances. We encourage all who consider DH their church home to practice first fruits giving (give first and live on the rest). You can place a check “Downtown Hope” or cash in our offering box today or give online at downtownhope.org/give. Your generosity goes to extending God’s grace to our city through the people and work of Downtown Hope. You can find our financial updates on our giving page.
What if I have never given before? A simple way to begin is by committing a small percentage and increasing each year. The 10% pattern of offering in the Old Testament is a helpful mark to grow towards.
We have a handful of people who are interested in this forming team and are now looking for a team leader. If you are interested in hearing more about the role please reach out to Joey Tomassoni, firstname.lastname@example.org

Knownness in Downtown Hope happens in Community through identifying as a part of the body. Our quarterly Gospel For Life Membership class is a chance to identify as a body member of Downtown Hope. Meals and childcare are provided. RSVP to Austin MacCubbin email@example.com.
