Offering as an act of Worship

We respond to God’s grace in worship by offering our whole lives back to Him (Romans 12.1-2)- this includes our finances.  We encourage all who consider DH their church home to practice first fruits giving (give first and live on the rest). You can place a check “Downtown Hope” or cash in our offering box today or give online at www.downtownhope.org/give. Your generosity goes to extending God’s grace to our city through the people and work of Downtown Hope. You can find our financial updates on our giving page.

What if I have never given before? A simple way to begin is by committing a small percentage and increasing each year.  The 10% pattern of offering in the Old Testament is a helpful mark to grow towards.

Volunteer Arts Camp at Maryland Hall

Volunteer with children from low-income families while they experience art forms programs and workshops at Maryland Hall. These arts activities help students discover inner talents while engaging in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Our partner, Steve Poole, is the director.
