We have a vision for our church to care for the needs of the people of the city. There are one time and long-term opportunities to get involved - things like buying food for those in need, to serving in Newtowne 20 on a Sunday afternoon. Contact Janice. amazekeat@gmail.com

Annapolis Film Festival

They are short volunteers for the Downtown Hope Lyft Lounge. What they need:

Venue Manager - one or two people who will share being at the Venue the entire time to manage the event.  The "Greeters" report to them.  The Lyft Lounge is open Friday and Saturday from 10 to 7.  Volunteers should arrive one half hour earlier.

We need a total of 8  "Greeters".  Friday and Saturday will be  broken down into 2 shifts with 2 "Greeters" each shift. They will be sure that the quests have a Festival Pass since this is for Pass Holders only.  Be sure the coffee area is picked up etc.  Lastly, to be sure that we are good stewards of the Downtown Hope facility.

All volunteers receive a pass to the films that day.

Pack Meals for Local Families

1 out of every 3 children in Annapolis public schools are food insecure. That means that they don't know for sure where their next meal is going to come from. On March 24, you can help change that. Downtown Hope is partnering with our friends at Revolution, MOD Pizza, several other local churches, and Generosity Feeds to pack 20,000 meals for immediate distribution in our city.
