Communities of Hope,

Every waking hour of every day we are propelled into life through an array of experiences we face. Some of these experiences are internal, some are external, some negative, some positive, some affect us, some affect others, some are of temptation, some are of beauty. James, the younger half brother of Jesus and leader of the first century Jerusalem church writes to a dispersed group of the first Christ followers, to practically address how to navigate the landscape of life in light of their new faith. Join us over the next several weeks as we learn how to navigate the complexities we face and how ultimately the Lord grows our faith as we are thrown into life.

This Sunday we will be beginning in James 1.1-4 as he addresses how to face trials. If you missed Renew or last week don’t forget to bring your commitment cards- I am looking forward to gathering with you on Sunday!

grace + peace,
