Job Description:

Downtown Hope Church is accepting applications for a part-time administrator to execute on a range of administrative tasks on a weekly basis. Hours are flexible, including in-office and work-from-home, and range from 15-20 hours weekly. The applicant should be an organized individual who is both task- and people-oriented, able to communicate in a timely and effective way, positive, optimistic, and willing to work in a team environment. Pay will be determined based on experience and will range from $1000 - $1400 Monthly. This position will report directly to the Executive Pastor.

General Tasks Include:

  1. Interfacing with ministry finances

  2. Coordinating with volunteers and leaders

  3. Other Administrative functions including mail, ordering supplies and basic word processing.

Qualifications:

  1. Adept with technology and social media (i.e., Google Drive, Google Docs, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

  2. Familiar with financial administration (Bill.com, Expensify, Google Sheets, and online donor systems)

  3. Able to craft a range of written communications including emails, letters, and web-based content

  4. Able to manage a large number of independent tasks on a daily basis

  5. Able to coordinate and connect people

  6. Flexible, positive, people-oriented, task-oriented, and detail-oriented

  7. Willing to make Downtown Hope your church home
